Galli Estate
The cellar door and restaurant all come under one large roof with a roaring fire during the cooler days in the centre of the room. The tasting room of this large set-up is in the front left corner of the building and is only quite small. The remainder is a large restaurant with a long bar to one side that keeps the locals feed and happy with specials throughout the week, like the 3 course dinner and a glass of Gali wine for $30.00
The wine tasting included some interesting varieties like Sangiovese, Nebilio and Tempranillo which were all very tasty. This may not be for foodies as the restaurant has more of a bistro feel about the place and can get some large groups coming in at times. But if you are with the kids and several families or even the grandparents, then enjoy this lovely set up as it is the perfect place where you can dine and sample a great selection of Gali wines.
